Hove Park School is an officially licensed provider of the Duke of Edinburgh award
The Duke of Edinburgh award is one of the leading awards for achievement outside the classroom which demonstrates that you have many life skills and abilities. Achieving the award at each level shows you are a well-rounded person, who takes exercise, has interests and helps others. It also shows commitment, independence, team and leadership skills and the ability to problem solve. These are the 21st century learning skills which employers and colleges look to build on and develop. If you have the award, it will help your CV.
It is also a fun opportunity to take part in new experiences and develop friendships and learn skills and learn more about yourself, your gifts and those of others.
