A Hove Park School Initiative
Every Child Should
Every Child Should is a Hove Park School initiative, to ensure that all students get the opportunity to participate in a variety of memorabls and enriching experiences, as they journey through the school, which in turn will complement and broaden their education. Each theme is represented by a coloured star badge, that students can wear on their blazers. The challenge for students is to achieve all 8 badges by the time they leave the Valley Campus, at the end of Year 8 and move to begin their GCSE courses, on the Nevill Campus.
Purple Badge Award

Purple Badge Activities, Experiences and Opportunities
There are numerous opportunities for students to embody the school's ethos and demonstrate our shared values. Students can gain House points that are awarded by staff to acknowledge one of our six shared values. Additionally, there are various other ways to help out and contribute in school events. These include showing parents & carers around during our Open Evening, supporting charity events, and becoming a Peer Tutor to support other students at Hove Park or in our local Primary schools.
