At Hove Park School & Sixth Form College we are committed to providing our students with a comprehensive programme of accurate, impartial and objective careers information, education, advice and guidance.

We aim to ensure that all individual students, irrespective of ability, can make informed decisions at all stages of their experience and development. As such, our careers programme is focused around Government recommendations as outlined in the Gatsby Benchmarks:

The careers programme at Hove Park School is delivered to Years 7 to 11 through:

• Comprehensive programme of Careers lessons through the Learning for Life Programme, Years 7 – 11
• Careers in the Curriculum: lessons focused on Career paths in Year 8 to support Options Process
• Careers Pilot Careers platform: online resource to support students throughout their time at HPS
• Hove Park School Careers Fair
• GCSE/Post 16 option evenings
• Information evenings for Years 7-11
• Assemblies
• Guest Speakers
• Work encounters
• One to one Career Interviews for ALL students
