The staff at Hove Park School would like to congratulate all our Year 11 and Sixth Form students today for the hard work that has seen so many achieve success in their GCSEs. After what has been another challenging year, they can now celebrate gaining the qualifications that will take them on to the next stage of their education at school, sixth form or college!
Our students have shown great resilience in coping with the huge disruption to their learning caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite the uncertainties about exams and how grades would be determined, our students were committed to their learning throughout the year.
Head teacher, Jim Roberts, praised the hard work of both the students and staff. He said:
"We are all very proud of our students and their achievements. The challenges of the last year should not distract us from acknowledging and celebrating their success. These results are a true reflection of students’ commitment to their studies and resilience. They were also supported by staff that have gone above and beyond to provide high quality teaching and learning. We wish the our students all the very best and look forward to hearing about their future successes."
