Curriculum

Our curriculum offers students the opportunity for creativity and self-expression, alongside developing self-confidence and critical thinking skills. Students will develop a wide range of skills in drawing, painting and sculpture, using a range of materials and art and design techniques, such as colour, pattern, texture, line, form and shape. The Art and Design curriculum aims to teach students to be evaluative and reflective learners, by looking at and comparing their own work with others. They will also develop a cultural appreciation and understanding of the role of Art throughout history and today, by studying a range of artists from different cultures and time periods.
